Billy Charles Marcum age 72, of Sheridan; passed away on November 26, 2015 in Indianapolis. He was born on Sepetmeber 7, 1943 to the late Charlie Arthur and Opal (Jones) Marcum in Windfall, Indiana. Billy served his country honorably in the Veitnam war while serving in the US Navy. Billy worked for American Airlines as a ramp servicesman, he was a member of the International Assosication of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. Billy loved to spent time with his family whom will greatly miss him, his wife Georgia (Mendell) Marcum of 48 years they were married on April 4, 1967 in Cicero. Their four children Barry (Theresa) Marcum, Billie (Mike) Stover, Brandon (Vickie) and Brad (Brandi) Marcum. Nine loving grandchildren Bethany, Jamie, Madison, Lanie, Kaycee, Torin, Torrie, Brylee and Bradee. he was a proud great-grandfather of two Aaliyah and Mason. Billy is survived by four sibling Ron (Gloria), Phil (Doris) Marcum Debbie (Fred) Amend and Rick Marcum and several nieces and nephews, His brother Bud Marcum preceded Billy in death in 1967. A celebration of Billy life will take place on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Sheridan Church of God located at 707 W. 2nd St. Sheridan, where friends and family are invited to gather from 12:00 pm till time of services.
