Charles Ronald "Ron" Singleton age 77, of Sheridan passed away on November 18, 2014 in Sheridan. Charles was born on June 24, 1937 to the late Chester and Hulda (Anderson) Singleton in Clinton County, Indiana. Ron attended high school at Kirklin and Sheridan class of 1955. He went on and served honorably in the Korean War in United States Army. Charles was a member of American Legion Post 67 in Sheridan, he competed in the Sheridan Horseshoe League and he enjoyed fishing and bird watching. Ron worked for Biddle Product where he worked as a machinist until retiring in 2000. He will be greatly missed by his wife Wanda Lou (Stafford) of 55 years, their three children Roni Jo Baker, Beverly (Calvin D) Condry and Dan Singleton. Ron was also a proud grandfather of Jason Condry, Brittany (Brad) Schutter and Marika Singleton, a great-grandfather to Hailey Condry. He also leaves behind a sister Lila Stevenson and Joyce Wooster. Preceding Ron in death two sons Charles Kent in 1963 and Audie Quick in 1982, a grandchild Marshall Condry and a sibling Alna May. Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 22, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Spencer Cemetery. Pastor Carol Fritz will be officiating.
