Christopher John Petrie age 40, of Jamestown, Indiana passed away on August 14, 2013 in Urbana, Illinois. He was born on December 18, 1972 to John Charles Petrie and Kathleen (Duffield) King in Las Vegas, NV. Both of Christopher parents survive him. Chris enjoyed being on his computer, four wheeling but most of all he loved being a devoted father to his three children Braeden and Jaelyn Petrie and Myriah Jean Garza. Chris was also engaged to Billie Jo Mills who he loved very much. He also leaves behind his step-father Henry Bert King II and step-mother Vickie Sue Petrie; five siblings Richard Mathew Petrie, Michael Raymond Thompson, Aaron Gregory Thompson, John Paul Petrie and Crystal Lynn Petrie. His paternal grandmother Carol Petrie along with several nieces and nephews. His son Christopher Nicolas Petrie, maternal grandparents James and Lois Duffield and paternal grandfather Virgil Petrie has preceded Chris in death. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 19, 2013 at Sheridan First Baptist Church located at 205 E. 3rd St. in Sheridan at 1:00pm; where friends and family may gather from 11:00 am till time of services .Pastor Joe Lovell will be officiating Chris''s service.
