Evelyn Maxine (Wiles) Boyer age 94 of Sheridan, passed away on March 21, 2012. She was born on January 8, 1918 to the late Jess and Laura (Bailey) Wiles in Sheridan, IN. Evelyn recieved her associate degree from Bowling Green University in Kentucky. She worked as a teacher for seventeen years at the Indianapolis school for the blind, she also taught at Marion Township school and substituted at Sheridan High School. Evelyn was a member of Sheridan First Christian Church, VFW, American Legion in Noblesville, Eagles and the Moose . She enjoyed many things such as Crafts, Quilting, Bingo, Playing poker with the men and going south for the winter, but most importantly she loved her family whom will greatly miss her John (Sandra) Fulwider, Ronald J. (Cindy) Fulwider , Robert C. "Bob" (Deb) Fulwider, Judith " Judy" J. Henderson and Mary Sue (Ed) McNeely. Evelyn also leaves behind 20 loving grandchildren 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. After Evelyn first husband Charles Fulwilder preceded her in death in 1973 Evelyn second husband Jacob B. Boyer he also preceded Evelyn in Death also preceding her in death her daughter Doris Adair in 2000, a granddaughter Brenda (Fulwider) Foley and three sisters and a brother. Services will be held on Monday March 26, 2012 at Sheridan First Christian Church at 1:00 pm where friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 am till time of services. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sheridan Christian Church. Fisher Family Funeral Services have been entrusted with the arrangements.
