IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Helen Maxine
Rothwell
June 18, 1925 – July 30, 2013
Helen Maxine Rothwell, age 88, passed away on July 30, 2013. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 18, 1925, to the late Herbert Joseph Reinert and Helen (Cherry) Reinert. Helen had nine siblings, of which five have preceded her in death: three brothers-Robert, James, and Charles Reinert and two sisters-Bernice Bailey and Ruth Haynes. She is survived by three sisters: Mary Myer, Rosie Reck and Shirley Andrews; and one brother, Herbert Joseph Reinert, Jr. She attended Broad Ripple High School and soon thereafter on July 27, 1945, married the love of her life, Charles Thomas Rothwell, Sr. Together they had five children. She lived most of her life in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. She moved to Noblesville, Indiana 16 years ago. Helen was always a person who loved the Bible and sought spiritual understanding. As such, she became baptized as one of Jehovah''s Witnesses in 1951. She devoted her love and care to raising her five young children in the faith, as well as regularly sharing Bible teachings with many others through her house-to-house ministry of 62 years. Among Helen''s many interests were growing flowers, watching her hummingbirds, playing cards, cooking and baking, shopping and watching the Lawrence Welk show. Surprisingly enough, she enjoyed Indiana Pacers basketball. It was her custom while watching a game to engage in quite an animated conversation over the phone with her son, Charles, who was watching the game at the same time. One of the greatest joys of her life was spending time in person or on the phone with her two young great-grandsons, Ryden and Ronan. She is survived by her four children: Charles (wife, Glenova); Beverly Robinson (husband, Jeff); Diana Pope (husband, David); and David (wife, Brenda). Her daughter, Darlene Smith, preceded her in death six years earlier. Her husband of 38 years, Charlie, preceded her in death 30 years ago. Helen had 6 grandchildren: Chad, Melanie, Misty, Brittany, Jared and Morgann. She had 13 great grandchildren. Helen was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother. She had a very caring group of friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on August 17, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses located at 19100 Allisonville Road in Noblesville, Indiana. Fisher Family Funeral Services has been entrusted with Helen''s arrangements.
