"Jake" Hiatt

Jacob "Jake" A. Hiatt age 75, of Sheridan, Indiana, passed away on December 1, 2014. Jake was born on November 18, 1939 to the late John Warren and Ruby (Bake) Hiatt in Hamilton County, Indiana. He graduated from Sheridan High School Class of 1957. Jake served honorability in the United States Army, and was stationed at the Panama Canal. He worked for Biddle Precision Components in Sheridan as a purchasing agent, and retired in 2011. Jake was a member Issachar Church, Sheridan Lion Club, and was very involved with MAMA Cupboard. Jake will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Marzella (Graham) Hiatt of 55 years; their two children Jeff (Bobbie Jo) Hiatt and Lisa Hiatt of Sheridan; two grandchildren Haleigh (Robert) Gill and Justin (Olga) Haggard. Jake is also survived by his two siblings, John Anthony (Donita) and Donald Hiatt, along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 6, at 1:00 pm at Sheridan Church of God located at 707 W. 2 nd St., where family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 am till time of services; Pastor Joshua Kennedy officiating. Burial at Crownview Cemetery will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Issachar Church "Building Fund" 417 S. Main St. Sheridan, Indiana 46069.
