Josephine Luckett, age 90 of Sheridan formerly of Greenwood passed away on May 17, 2013. She was born to the late Joseph Allen and Ruth Irene Moore on September 10, 1922. Josephine retired from Community South Hospital where she worked as a payroll accountant. She was a member of the VFW in Greenwood and Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Josephine enjoyed oil painting, pretty punch and singing in the church choir, but most importantly she loved her family three daughters Donna (Bill) Nixon, Carol (Mark) Orff and Marjorie (Roger) Bolt. Twelve grandchildren Robert, Ronald, Michael and Joseph Arney, Judd and Amber Nixon, Shannon (Tom) Lapham, Bryan Gill, Rhonda (Chris) Kyriakopoulos, Amy (Mike) Kelleher, Robyn Bolt and Jennifer (Andy) Stites. She also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Preceding Josephine in death is her husband Donald in 1986, grandson Charles Orff in 2009 and two sisters Ruth Johnson and Catherine Davis. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Madison Avenue Baptist Church at 1:00 pm in Greenwood where friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 am till time of services, The Rev. Kip Farrar officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Fisher Family Funeral services have been entrusted with the arrangements.
