A proud member of the Sheridan High School Class of 1962, Karen embodied the spirit of hard work and dedication throughout her life.

In her early career, Karen spent a few years working at Western Electric, but her true passion lay in nurturing her family. These interests not only allowed her to express her creativity but also highlighted her nurturing spirit, as she took great pleasure in taking care of everyone around her. Her family was her proudest accomplishment, especially her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Karen Inman (Phil Schultz) of Grayslake, Illinois, and Mary (Chris) Moudy of Frankfort, Indiana. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Sadie (Fiancé Ryan Jones) Schultz, Cora (Caleb) Brzezinski, Matthew Moudy, Max (Shelby) Moudy, and Chloe Moudy. In addition, Karen is remembered by her sisters Pam Ranney, Sue Stubbs, and Alice Book, and her brothers Robert and Mike Grimes.
