Kevin R. Kinkead Sr.

July 13, 1958 - April 8, 2016

Kevin R. Kinkead Sr., a lifelong resident of Sheridan, Indiana; passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Noblesville. Kevin was 57 years of age. He was born on July 13, 1958 to the late Ray and Annabelle (Snyder) Kinkead in Lebanon, Indiana.Kevin served honorably in the United States Army National Guard. He proudly worked as a Combine Technician for 32 years at Reynolds John Deere in Sheridan. He looked forward daily to working on the farmers' equipment. Kevin was a member of American Legion Post 67 in Sheridan, IN. He was very talented at woodworking and thoroughly enjoyed working with his hands. His latest project was constructing a bar at Tailgaters, a restaurant in Sheridan. Kevin loved repairing lawnmowers; whether it was his or for others. Kevin was a very giving man. He enjoyed serving others by lending a helping hand whenever time allowed.Kevin's biggest joy was spending time with his 13 grandchildren whom will greatly miss him. He is survived by his one true love, Debbie. Kevin leaves behind three loving children; Kevin (Candace) Kinkead Jr. of Franklin, Indiana, Tricia Kinkead of Whitestown, and Robin (Robert) McLean of North Carolina. He is survived by his six beloved siblings; Marlene (Ronald) Burroughs, Marsha Dunkin, Larry Kinkead, Rex (Roberta) Kinkead, Randy (Marilyn) Kinkead, and Jerry (Bev) Kinkead along with several nieces and nephews. His brother, Charlie Kinkead, preceded him in death in 2011.Kevin's funeral service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Sheridan First United Methodist Church, 207 E. 2 ^{nd Street. A calling will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Sheridan First United Methodist Church. Pastor Reverend Carol Fritz will be officiating Kevin's service.
