Larry Edward Ivy, 72, past into his heavenly father''s care on June 24, 2013 in Indianapolis, Indiana from the ravages of ALS. He was born on November 3, 1940 to the late Leonard and Ruth E. (Carlyle) Ivy, Indianapolis, IN. He proudly served 4 years in the United States Air Force. Larry worked at Conrail Corp in labor relations until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed playing golf; spending time with family and friends. Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jo Ann (Brady) Ivy and their loving daughter Anita (Steve) Leonard. He was a proud grandfather to Morgan and Jakob Leonard whom he loved dearly. He was brother-in-law to Linda (Ron) Yeary, and son- in- law of Paul L. Brady. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday July 8, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery, US 32, Westfield, Indiana, where friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 am until time of services.
