Marjorie Catt Weaver died July 22, 2013 at Carmel St. Vincent Hospital. She was born October 13, 1927 to Alonzo David and Amy Hawkins Catt in Kokomo, Indiana. She graduated from Kokomo High School. Marjorie received a BA degree, majoring in home economics, from William Penn College, Oskaloosa, Iowa. Following graduation she worked as a dietician and taught homemaking at Scattergood Friends School near West Branch, Iowa.

Marjorie returned to Kokomo to help care for family. She and Edgar Weaver were married at Union Street Friends Church, Kokomo, Indiana, June 16,1957. During their marriage they lived on the Conner Prairie Farm where Ed did maintenance work. Children, Carol Sue, 1960 and Mark Alan, 1964 completed their family. Marjorie served as Food Service Manager for the College Wod Elementary School, Carmel, Indiana. She enjoyed bowling and crafts. She sang in the Carmel Friends Church choir and cheerfully helped with meals for many occasions.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Weaver Washington, Las Vegas, Nevada and her children, Carna and Perel; her son, Mark Weaver, Carmel, Indiana; sister, Carolyn Farris (Bill), Bumpass, Virginia; brother, David Catt (Dorothy), Kokomo, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Clara Weaver Millett (Ray), West Branch, Iowa and Marilynn Weaver Bell, Sheridan, Indiana also nieces, nephews, and cousins who were important to her.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Edgar Weaver; brother, Lewis Catt, and sister, Evelyn Catt Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25 at 2 p. m. at Carmel Friends Church, where friends and family may gather from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Park. Marilynn Bell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carmel Friends Church.
