Obituary

Mark Sexton, 63, of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Mark was born on August 2, 1962, in Westfield, Indiana. He graduated from Westfield High School and went on to build a successful business, Gulf Coast Pressure Washing, where he became known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and willingness to help others.

Mark was a devoted husband, father, Papa, brother, and friend. He found great joy in boating, fishing and spending time outdoors near the water. Above all, Mark loved his family wholeheartedly and was a faithful follower of Christ. He lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, humility, and quiet strength, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Rebecca “Becky” Sexton; his children, Amanda (Nathan) Jones, Beverley (Matt) Cameron, and Nicholas Sexton; and his eight cherished grandchildren, Brianne (Robert), Bryce, Gabe, Brittany, Aly, Grayson, Emily, and Mark. He is also survived by his siblings, Valerie (Richard) Adkins, Marilyn Lee (Steve), Gary Cockrall (Cindy), Jimmy Wayne (Michelle) Sexton, and Rob (Kathy) Wilson; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Bob Wilson, and his brother, Rick (Mary) Sexton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday August 13, 2026, at Fisher Family Funeral Services located at 508 E. 6th St. Sheridan, Indiana 46069 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 PM.

Family and friends are invited to gather as they celebrate Mark’s life, his unwavering faith, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
