IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marzella K
Hiatt
July 17, 1939 – February 17, 2026
Marzella K. Hiatt, a beloved member of the Sheridan community, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born on July 17, 1939, in Hamilton County, Indiana, to Floyd and Florence (Hubbard) Graham.
Marzella was known for her feisty spirit and loving personality, traits endeared her to many. She was a proud graduate of Sheridan High School, Class of 1957, and held a State of Indiana Insurance License, through which she owned and operated the Sheridan Insurance Company. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her dedication to her family and community.
A devoted member of Issachar Church in Sheridan, Marzella’s faith was an integral part of her life. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Marzella is survived by her son, Jeff (Bobbie Jo) Hiatt; her daughter, Lisa Hiatt; her grandchildren, Haleigh (Robert) Gill and Justin (Olga) Haggard; and her great-grandchildren, Braxton and Makenna. These relationships were the foundation of her life, and she took immense pride in watching her family grow.
In her spare time, Marzella loved to sit on the porch, enjoying the beauty of nature around her, while cheering on her favorite Sunday football teams with her great grandson Braxton or indulging in game shows and classic westerns featuring John Wayne. Her goal-oriented and caring nature were apparent in all aspects of her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Marzella was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob "Jake" Hiatt, who passed away in 2014, her sister Roselyn Engle, and her parents, Floyd and Florence Graham. Their collective memories will continue to resonate within her surviving family, serving as a testament to a life well-lived.
As we remember Marzella K. Hiatt, we honor not only her remarkable achievements but also the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of her family and community.
