Melva Jane (Barnes) Cain age 83, of Sheridan; passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Texas; with her husband Tom of 61 years at her side. Jane was born on July 8, 1936 to the late Edward and Mary Francis (Lovell) Barnes in Sheridan, Indiana. Jane was a graduate of Sheridan High School class of 1954. Jane leaves behind her husband Tom, their children Scott Douglas Cain, Mitchel Lee (Nancy) Cain and Marylee (Mark) Hagler, she was a loving grandmother to 10, a proud great-grandmother to 9. She also leaves behind her sister Dixie Hendricks. Preceding Jane in death is her son Mark, grandson Paul and brother Charles. A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday June 5, 2021 from 2-6 pm at Fisher Family Funeral Services Located at 508 E. 6 ^th St. Sheridan, Indiana 46069.
