Michael Peter Policka, born on February 14, 1940, in Baseline, MI, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, in Noblesville, IN. Michael was the beloved son of the late Adolph Policka and Catherine (Muschong) Policka.

Michael graduated from Fenton High School with the Class of 1958, where he excelled in both baseball and football. During his high school years, he met his future wife, Marcia Ann (Graham), a basketball player and cheerleader. The couple married on October 23, 1959, and soon moved to Grand Rapids, MI, where they built a life together.

In November 1964, Michael and Marcia welcomed their son, Gregory Michael Policka. Michael was a dedicated father who coached Greg's Southern Little League baseball teams in Grand Rapids for many years, and he was an enthusiastic supporter of Greg's high school and college baseball endeavors. Michael and Marcia were avid Ohio State Buckeye fans, never missing a weekend of Big Ten Baseball games whether in Columbus, OH or on the road. They remained Buckeye fans for life, often gathering in Greg's garage bar to cheer on the scarlet and gray.

Michael enjoyed a long and successful career in the car business at esteemed dealerships such as Harvey Cadillac, Orson E. Coe Pontiac, and Sharpe Buick. Throughout his career, Michael formed many cherished lifelong friendships.

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael had a passion for golf, fishing, and spending time with friends. He cherished summer vacations with Marcia and Greg in beautiful northern Michigan. In retirement years Michael enjoyed relaxing aboard his Sea Ray on Lake Michigan and taking walks with his dog, Mimi. Michael moved to Noblesville, IN in 2017 to be near Greg and his family. Known for his tremendous sense of humor, Michael's witty one-liners will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia Ann Policka. He is survived by his son, Greg (Gretchen) Policka and his cherished grandchildren, Courtney (Abram) Schroeder, Macey Policka, and Alec Policka.
