Patrick Thomas Johnson, born on August 5, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully in Indianapolis on July 1, 2026. He was 57 years old.
Patrick looked forward to family dinner at his parents' house with his family. he was also smart with numbers and could calculate anything in his head, he had a love music and would listen to music for hours.
He is survived by his loving mother, Denzil Ileene (Johnson) Harmon, and his devoted stepfather, Herald Bennie Harmon. Patrick’s memory will be fondly cherished by his four sisters: Pamela (Jim) Schnelle, Margaret Greg) Dodson, Melinda (Gary) Wildermood, and Teresa Gwin, each of whom carry forward aspects of his character and humor. His brothers, Timothy Mossburg, and Rick Harmon, also survives him and continues to embody the family’s strength and unity. Patrick’s impact extended to his nieces and nephews, who knew him as a source of encouragement and warmth.
Patrick is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Lee Johnson, whose legacy and values Patrick upheld throughout his life. He was also predeceased by his sister Cheryl McFarland, and his brother Jerry Johnson, as well as his grandparents: Patrick and Ina Lindenmayer, and Orven and Effie Johnson. Each of these family members played a vital role in shaping Patrick’s kindness and resilience.
A burial service to honor Patrick’s life will be held on August 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Scotland Cemetery, located at South County Road 400 East and Scotland Rd, Kirklin, IN 46050. All who knew Patrick and whose lives he touched are welcome to attend this service to pay their respects and celebrate his legacy.
Patrick Thomas Johnson’s memory will be cherished by family and friends alike. His presence, marked by dedication and compassion, leaves a lasting impression upon all who had the privilege to know him.
