Portia (Lyon) Hutton, age 82 of Annapolis, Maryland formerly of Sheridan, passed away on December 8, 2012. She was born on October 10, 1930 to the late Forrest and Eloyze (Cox) Lyon in Boone County, Indiana. Portia is a graduate of Sheridan High School class of 1948 and went on and attended Indiana University where she studied accounting. Portia was married to Wallace Hutton in Lebanon, Indiana on September 5, 1953. She will be greatly missed by her family, her loving husband of 59 years Wally; their two devoted sons Brock and Shane (Kay) Hutton, and two grandchildren Shawn and Sharon. Her brother Myron Lyon preceded Portia in death in 2004. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm with The Rev Carol Fritz officiating at Sheridan United Methodist Church, where friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00 pm till time of services.
