William (Jayro) Jeffery
Savage
January 7, 1956 – March 22, 2026
William “Jeff” (Jayro) Savage passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2026, at his home, likely after checking the scores of his favorite teams. Leaving behind a legacy of handcrafted beauty, along with a life lived on his own terms. Jayro found joy in turning raw lumber into lasting structures. He was a free spirit who walked his own path, and he was known for his wondering soul. Jayro was a man who could hold his own in any conversation lighting up rooms with a joke or a cleverly placed remark. We will remember Jayro not just for the milestones or the laughter but for the person who made every moment richer, and every story better told. His life was well lived and fondly remembered. A legacy of love, humor, and the enduring bond of family, friends, and his four-legged friend Meg. Jayro survives by cousins, aunts, uncles, and a circle of friends from Indiana to Florida who loved him for his generous heart and unique perspective. He will be missed by all who enjoyed his stories, quick wit, laughter, and free-spirited nature. Preceding in his death his mother Mary E. (Steward) Savage, father William Bill Savage, and his brother Stuart M. Savage. A celebration of Jayro Life is being planned for a later date.
